Building the Vanguard Party – Interview Series with the CPM-K

Two of our comrades participated in the Pan-Africanism Summit Against Imperialism (PASAI) in Nairobi on May 11 and 12, which took place as a counter-event to the “Africa Forward Summit” initiated by France. There, they witnessed the extreme repression of the Ruto regime, which detained several international PASAI participants for over 65 hours without charge. The comrades also attended a trial against the General Secretary of the Communist Party Marxist–Kenya (CPM-K), Booker Omole, who was brutally arrested by the authorities in early March and tortured while in custody.
In this series of interviews, we are publishing conversations with representatives of the CPM-K, in which we spoke with them about party-building, the communists’ struggle against repression, revolutionary work in universities and workplaces, and much more.
