Iran has shown the aggressors a limit! On Iran’s military operation of 13/14 April

With its military operation on 12/13 April, Iran sent an important signal to the Zionist occupying power Israel and its terror, as well as to the USA and the West. The operation corresponds to the necessity of defending Iran’s sovereignty. It was preceded not only by the attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria, but also by numerous other attacks by Israel on Iranian facilities and individuals. Iran rightly invokes the right to self-defence after its territory was attacked with the embassy.

The operation is politically important because it has shown that US imperialism and its representative, the Zionist occupying power Israel, cannot provoke without limits. Limits were set to the war aggression emanating from these forces.

The military operation was carefully weighed up and fulfilled the purpose of not amounting to a declaration of war, but nevertheless dealt a sensitive blow to the occupying power. The supposed superiority of the Zionists has once again been called into question. This is an important political signal that has also been understood by the West, which is therefore trying to play down the significance of the military operation.

The Iranian military operation is an important support for the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people.

The joint action coordinated by regional forces has expressed and at the same time reinforced the changed political balance of power.

The time in which Israeli attacks on all countries in the region were simply accepted is slowly coming to an end. For us in Germany, it is crucial that the Palestine Solidarity Movement does not allow itself to be divided in this situation, despite differing views on forces in the region.

For us, this must be unequivocal:
Away with the sanctions against Iran and Syria!
Hands off Iran!
Hands off Yemen, Lebanon and Syria!
Freedom for Palestine!
