The recent ban on the Palästina e.V. organization is intended to deal a blow to the Palestine movement. The ban aims to silence resistance against genocide and occupation and to enforce the state’s interests. The justification for the ban also focuses sharply on the Kommunistische Organiation (KO), which is being targeted. This is part of the state’s attempts to defame and isolate the KO.In our statement, we address what this has to do with the KO’s positions, the course toward war, and the general anti-communism of the Federal Republic of Germany. The bottom line is: Do not remain silent in the face of repression, do not back down in the face of guilt by association, oppose the course toward war, and advance the liberation of Palestine!

Two of our comrades were guests on the Marx, Engels, Lenin Institute podcast to discuss the current political and economic situation in Germany. Starting with the end of the ‘Ampel’ coalition government, and moving on to an assessment of the AfD and BSW and the development of the German economy, we talk about topics and issues that continue to cause controversy and raise questions within the left-wing and communist movement in Germany.
