Auch die Nachkriegssituation in der DDR und BRD sowie die Beiträge der westdeutschen marxistischen Faschismusforschung bleiben dabei nicht ungeachtet. Viele Fragen und Debatten aus dieser Zeit sind bis heute aktuell.

81 years ago today, Germany was liberated from fascism. While we celebrate the victory of anti-fascism, those in power simply speak of the end of the war, ban Soviet symbols at commemorative events, and are arming themselves for the next major war. On May 8, the FRG’s historical revisionism is more prevalent than on almost any other day. This makes it necessary to expose its narratives and lies.In this spirit, we must also shape our remembrance: an anti-fascist commemoration that says nothing about the genocide in Palestine or the war against Russia is on the wrong track. To prevail in this struggle, we must know not only the history of fascism and the FRG, but also the experiences and lessons of the anti-fascist labor movement. These are our history, and we must fight for them.Never again fascism, war, and genocide!
