The struggle for national democratic revolution in Kenya

Last June and July, hundreds of thousands of protesters once again took to the streets in Kenya. They are demanding justice for those murdered during the anti-IMF protests in 2024 and an end to neoliberal austerity policies.

Many Kenyans have already been killed by the Ruto regime or are facing increasingly severe repression: systematic shoot-to-kill orders, kidnappings, torture. The resistance is to be broken by any means necessary. Meanwhile, comrades of the Communist Party Marxist – Kenya (CPM-K) are fighting on the front lines against neocolonial violence and for a national democratic revolution.

Njeri and Cynthia will give us insights into the dynamics of the recent protests on the ground and explain the strategies the CPM-K is pursuing in organizing the masses.

The interview will be conducted in English.
